Re: Testing Elders-Toot, am I on track?

Thanks Chad. I was under the impression that I should test female-to-felmale. I have a fantasic group of cousins. There are 4 of them left in their generation (5th). The first generation that I have a name for consist of Emeline so far. Emeline was born in the late 1700's in Alabama. I call this group "The Elders". They're all excited about being tested. I want to do this right.

Elder 1 = Buell. Buell's relationship to Emeline: Emeline had a daughter named Harriett. Harriett had a daughter Caroline. Caroline had a daughter Amanda. Amanda is Buell's mother.

Elder 2 = Rose. Emeline had a daughter named Harriett. Harriett had a daughter Caroline. Caroline had a daughter Elnora. Elnora is Rose's mother.

Elder 3 = Helen. Emeline had a daughter named Harriett. Harriett had a daughter Caroline. Caroline had a son named Thomas. Thomas is Helen's father.

*Elder 4 = Thomas (TomB). Emeline had a daughter named Harriett. Harriett had a son Thomas1. Thomas had a daughter named Julia. Julia had a son she named Thomas2. Thomas2 is Elder 4 or TomB's father.

I was thinking that Elder 2 would be good. But based on what you've said Chad I can use them all, right?

Thanks!!!

Tonya
