Great explanations on who can be tested for DNA lineages.
This example points to a need to find the siblings of our ancestors and then the descendants of those siblings. AND in keeping track of the lines that can be used there is a deinfite need for ancestral charting. What we've been calling "whole family genealogy".
The results I recieved from my Y-DNA and mtDNA through FamilyTreeDNA (25MarkerDNA+&HVR1&HVR2Plus) solidified, but not necessarily confirming the ethnic background, note I did not say ....race , of a paternal great-grandfather and that of a maternal 3rd great-grandmother. Thanks to you and your direction, these results then sent me to the AncestryByDNA for the admixture or biogeographical analysis (BGA).
