I think the results that you are referring to on YSearch are mine/my brother's. Strange, but we have made a 12/12 marker match and an 11/12 marker match to the Anlo Ewe of southeastern Ghana, Togo and Benin. That was one of the reasons I was a little disheartened by the information regarding the significance of 12/12 marker matches if the surnames were not identical. Our matches are to the Grant family from Northampton Co., NC (12/12) and the Agbemabieses of southeastern Ghana (11/12). All thanks to David Grant who has made the trip to Ghana and who plans another one next month. I figure even if we are looking at a common ancestor that existed 300+ years ago we all know that it had to come from Africa. Where in Africa was my question. I think I have that answer now thanks to David, Lawrence and Lawrence's family.
