toot: Thanks for that recently researched "annotations" on the Kinuris. I suspect a lot of tribal affiliated groups "missing" from the American/Carribean DNA demographics might have been perpartrator/conspirators within "The Trade" more readily than the victims of such. I've just remembered what I've read about the Beafata, the Bijagoes & the Mossi (the latter esp. concerning their "castrating skills") as transactors in either the Trans-Atlantic, or Trans-Saharan Slave Trades. - I'm sure as more of uscontinue to enthusiastically dig for genetic (& genealogical) historical info., there will be some additional painful, disheartening &/or embarrassing surprises unearthed along the way. - Historically Curious, Nevertheless: M.J.
