I just got my certificate from African Ancestry.com and found out last night that I am from the Tikar people in Cameroon. It feels so liberating to finally know who my people are. I hated not knowing who I am and where I am really from. So I started doing my own research 2 1/2 years ago but I got the answer I wanted in 6 weeks from African Ancestry. I gave my mother the greatest and most beautiful gift a child can give. I unlocked the secret of her (our) Identity. Racism and oppression tried to keep it hidden but I got back what the devil stole from me! Hallelujah!
