My matrilineal lineage is Tikar of Cameroon. I visited Douala in 1968, probably before you were born :-) and certainly before any of this DNA information was available. Who knew I was that close to "relatives??"

I'm gonna have to dig out those slides and have myself a genealogy party of one..... because I also visited Liberia and have a Kru lineage from there on my mother's father's line.

The location of neither of my father's two lineages that I know were in my trip, but wouldn't you know, I was right next door to those as well (Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea).
