I wrote to "The Root" asking about the level of DNA testing done on the celebrities seen on the TV shows such as Dr. Gates "Finding Your Roots" and the "Who Do You Think You Are" series...... Is their level of testing "deeper" than that received from 23andme, FTDNA and AncestryDNA as advertised by those companies? No response as yet.

I ask this question because of the matches found between these celebrities on those shows. For example, Yo-Yo Ma + Eva Longoria + Meryl Streep, etc. It is also interesting that none of the AA celebrities seen on PB series "AA Lives 2" had no matches among them, but did have some matches with Euro ancestored celebrities.

These are not meant to be deep, or even newsworthy questions, but just those from an inquisitive mind.
