My cousin and my brother tested Y-DNA, Family Finder and mtDNAPLUS. Accoding to the earlier test we were 41% European and 59% African.

We were told that FTDNA and 23ANDME merged. We lived in the US. Recently we ran some of the reports for Gedmatch.com. I found out that my family is part Bioka and Paquan.

Our reports stated that we are part Paleo European, Bantu, San. Ameridian, Neo-African and a few others. We knew we were part European and West African before the merge. We are now trying to figure out what all this means. Is anyone else having trouble figuring this out?

We do have more names to contact after we ran the Gedmatch.com. I am in the process of trying to contact some of the people who matched in the comparison report. Some of the L3d Halogroup, I had previously contacted, but only a very few responded back. Is anyone else having this problem with the African side of the family?
