Toot, FTDNA tests a minimum of 12 markers. The additonal ones that would be tested are 385a&b, 426, 439. But I just saw a chart somewhere showing that only about 5 markers are used to determine a Bantu connection. With FTDNA there is no YAP+ . So with the 8 markers that left, you matched mine 6 of 8. We differ at 393 and 389-2. Mine are 15 and 30 respectively. I am going to have to find that chart about the E3a. Actually, I think I was attempting to find something on E3a7 since my line also matched many in that haplogroup. I will post it if I find it.
