Mel: i think you've probably heard by now that at the moment of conception, siblings from the same bio-parent Do Not get *equal amounts* of chromosome markers from _both_ parents. One anaolgy would be like tossing a coin 100 times;...the odd are severely against you getting a 50/50 break-out in your results,.....making those moments of DNA transferal between parents more akin to a "'crap shot"' of chromosomal marker distribution. Given both the know (and unknown) admixtures within the AfricanAmerican community,...it bound to keep A-A parents eternally Amused, Entertained & Wondering. The subject gets hash over regularly within the _23andme_ Community Forums.........
