Toot, Thank you for the clarification, while I am forever thankful for AA.com I think they could do a better job explaining what the results of the test really means. Your explanation is clear and logical to me. As enthusiastic as I and we should be in drawing meaning and value from the results of the DNA analysis we should also be realistic and not over romanticize this information. I say this as longtime pan africanist with a strong desire to create, promote and improve genuine relationships between African Americans and Africans across the diaspora.
