I received my mtDNA results from African Ancestry on yesterday. I was excited to find that I too am from the Tikar people of Cameroon. Please send me pictures of the capital.

I decided in December for my birthday to do the DNA testing. I intend to take a trip to Africa in the next 1-2 years.

I just sent off the DNA results from Family Tree DNA to African Ancestry for my father, his maternal haplogroup is L1c and his paternal haplogroup is E3a. No, matches so far for either set of markers. I am eagerly awaiting the results from African Ancestry.
