I find it interesting that there are a number of African Americans finding out that they have Bubi ancestory as the Bubi are a small isolated people from a little known country in Africa. The Bubi at least according to their stories avoided being victims of the slave trade which makes this connection even more amazing to me. This being said I am an African American man who is married to a Bubi woman, and we have two childrn who are half Bubi.
