I used African Ancestry and did not get a biogeographical profile either. But, based on what I see on their web site and my experience with them, African Ancestry only does the Y-chromosome and mtDNA tests. They do not do a genome-wide, or biogeographical ancestry test. That is a different company. I also had a test done by that company.

Based on tests done so far, about 1/3 of African American and Carribean-Briton men tested have European Y-chromosomes, whereas only 2% of the mtDNA tests showed European mtDNA. This is a reflection of slavery where European men were having sex with African women and there was very little sex between European women and African men.

The European Y-chromosome will not necessarily show up in what a person looks like, because it could have come into your lineage hundreds of years ago.
