The Tainos assimilated there culture with that of Africans and the European Spaniards and it is this combination of races and cultures that make up the people we know as Puertorican. My daughters father had his DNA tested and he is a mix of African, Native American and European. His Native American results and African results were almost equal percentage wise. Debra
