Howard,i just received my HVR2 test back.The upgrade was $75.00 since i had already took the first one.It takes about four weeks to get it back. What it does is find a relative who is a little closer to you then the first 12 markers.I,m having great fun over there on Familt Tree Dna. I also joined the African Ancestry project through family Tree and put my results in their bank.Make sure you put your results in Micro Search.Also i am in the Black Belt project since my family is from around Alabama.It may be a few that have your first 12 markers but not your second markers.I have a person who has my first 12 and is just off one on my second markers,so i know we are kin somewhere down the line and maybe more may show up. It,s worth the $75.00 to me. Anna
