Re: The L3 Mystery
In Response To: Re: The L3 Mystery ()
Then I have the Thomas surname again in my father's VA family. Once in connection with the Massenburg/Early family from Sussex County and again with my Charity/Green/Jones etc from the Charles City County area.
I currently have members of my McKenzie family (my mom's paternal line) living in Pittsylvania County and I have heard there are Thomases there who might be connected to my family.
So with that being said, where are your Thomases from? The haplogroup for my mtdna was H3. I have not found any male to do a y dna test. So I only have the information on Louisa Unknown born around 1812. But my mom did an admixture test. Her results were 48$ sub-saharan african, 37% european and 15% east asian.
Also Amy Thomas born around 1810 was a mulatto. If I have the correct information on her family line I think her haplgroup would have been an I1a. One of my male cousins tested for his mom's line who should be one of her direct descendants and that was his result.
Hope this helped. Did we make a connection?
