For me this only says that the _current_ generation of the WOODSON family is not a match. I say ALL of Sally HEMINGS' children could have been Thomas' (Okay. SOME Jefferson's) children. But the dna test doesn't tell me about what may have happened in that family between Thomas and today's generation.
There could have been a non-paternity occurence somewhere along the line with the result that current WOODSONs don't have the Jefferson Y-chromosome. The Woodson son could very well have had the Jefferson Y. We have no way to know.
