I was thrilled to find at least some of my African ancestry among peoples of the Cameroons, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea-Bissau. But as a genalogist, I have to ask now what?
One of the reasons I focus so much on my European ancestry is because there's a real possibility of finding an actual person or family.
What more can one do in tracing their African Ancestry once they've hit the brick wall, haven't found documentary evidence of an ancestor with place of birth in Africa? Has anyone done anything more with their DNA results either on this side of the Atlantic or the other?
