I jsut wanted to share this;
I recently received my results from African Ancestry.
My BioGeographic Ancestry test revealed: 73% West African; 17 % European; and 10% Native American.
My mtDNA revealed "U or M" halogroup common amoung the Bamileke of Cameroon and Hausa. If I understand correctly, one direct female ancestor was either Hausa or Bamileke?
Can anyone explain why I would have this variation U or M? or has anyone received two possible halogroups regarding their testing?
