i just came across your post... i just wanted to let you know that i served as a peace corps volunteer for 2 years in bankim, the tikar capital. most of my closest friends were tikar. i even learned to speak a little tikar (although, i've already forgotten most of it). it's a very small village. anyway, i figured it may be of interest to you. if you want, i can send you some pictures.
