Hello fellow researcher! If you don't mind me asking, do you have any African features, be they ever so slight? I see a different person in the mirror now;I'm the same but I understand now why my hair is curly (I straighten it mostly and in the winter it stays straighter, I get too cold letting it dry) and gets frizzy. And why I tan so deeply and my yellowish skin tone alongside pinkish caucasians is noticeable to me. Also my lack of freckles, the shape of my nostrils,my ears, and my high blood pressure I've had since I was 30. (I'm 37, skinny, and don't smoke)I'm a musician, have great rhythm, and sing and play a few instruments.(Not to say these aren't attributes to all races) Maybe I'm generalizing, but it's fascinating when you discover something you didn't know before. I feel almost like a ghost has come back that was brushed aside and hidden a long time ago. I think about what some of our ancestors had to go through and it scares me a little. I don't walk around talking about this to just anyone-this is the only place I've said this. Thanks for listening.
