DNA Testing

Hey. all this DNA stuff has gotten too be a bit too much for me to decipher these days. My first DNA test was taken some 3 or 4 years ago with DMA Print Genomics out of Sarasota Florida. At that time they claimed to be the first and only company to be able to decipher ones genetic makeup whether it be Asian,African, European, Native American. I thought it would be imteresting to give it a try in an effort to rediscover my roots due to lost documents surrounding the civil war and the burning of the court house by Shermans Army in Chesterfield South Carolina where my fathers family was from. DNA Genomics confirmed my African, European and Native Aamerican heritage just as my oral history had claimed. At that point in time I was satisfied with this confirmatiom until another test came out claimung they could trace ones origins, National Geopgraphics. I said to my self, well National Geographics is reputable I could go with that. So I tested my mom and dad. Dad is R1b Eurasian Adam and mom is L3f1 East African. ok good enough well not really. Then up pops DNA Tribes a company that claimes they can decioher ethnic groups well what do I do?I get tested. I now know no more than I knew before the testing. Does anyone else feel like this? The only conclusive information I have recieved has been from National Geopgraphics. Debra
