Hey Sherry, If you do email DNA Tribes about the zulu and etc. please let us know what they say. I'm really curious. I was under the same impression - that none of us could be descendents of the zulu, but then how do we know for sure? I say this because there was also the trans saharan slave trade, and just about everyone could have been a slave back then. I mean, as I understand it from 1500 to 1800 North Africans had a large number of european slaves, from everywhere from Spain to Iceland. We don't hear a lot about that in our history stories, but apparently it's the truth. Lots of people were kidnapped or taken as war prisoners and sold into slavery. I suppose if we look at it that way, then it is possible that one of your ancestors could have been zulu, perhaps taken in battle or kidnapped some how. Please let us know what DNA Tribes says.
