The price does seem a little steep. We only paid $169 for the DNA Project for the male member? I was wondering why is the cost is so high. What is so different with the MtDNA vs. the male DNA? Is there more than 2 swabs? Sorry, but I don't know anything about the MtDNA at all.

An idea that I suggest to my brothers that we split the cost when doing something that has to do with in genealogy. In everything we do, we find this is easier on all 4 of us. So that one family will not have to pay for everything, even a tombstone that we purchased for my little sister who was stillborn.
