I think anyone who buys the patrician test for $350 has seriously wasted $250 bucks.

The National Geographic "Genographic" test only costs $100, and it GIVES you STR values anyone can enter into free/public genetics databases to find a tribal match in africa. Thats what I did to find my own tribal match in africa. The african ancestry site seems greedy as can be, which you can see by the outrageous price and the lack of a free and open dna haplogroup values search function. I guess that's the difference between a company as old and prestigious as National Geographic and some other outfits.

So if we establish they only need to charge $100, then what are they doing with the extra $250?

I'd love to hear the answer.
