Re: Testing on Your Own
In Response To: Testing on Your Own ()

Hi Tonya,

Essentially, I have taken the inverse of the number in OmniPop to get back to the type of number that other research will show.

For example, OmniPop may offer a value of 4.40E+3. I divide this number into 1 (or put another 1/4.40E+03 = 2.27E-04). I apply this to all of the populations.

Then I create another table by summarize the 150+ items into 10 summarized categories (populations). After that create a pie chart for easy viewing.

You can always pick out any 2 of the 150+ populations and determine which is twice as big as the next. With so many populations, this doesn't seem meaningful. 4% is twice as likely as 2%, but this is still not high. I summarized to get a wider view by region/type, which enables me to see which groups are more likely.
