Re: DNA for Ewondo tribe in Cameroon

Hi,
My folks are also from the Sussex, Greensville and Southampton Co area. My greatgrandparents and some my other family members lived and or attended school in Emporia. My father and grandparents were born in Jarratt. I have seen the Easter surname from that area.

My cousin, Stuart Doyle has written a book about families from the area. The Easter surname is listed in the index. The Christian names of those listed are:
Alice, Arthur, Bertha, Earl T.,Effie Brown, Howard, James L., Jean, John, John r., Josephine, Linwood, Lloyd, Lou Merritt, Louise E Butts, Magnolia Beale, Norman, Otha "Pete", Rosa Sarah, Shirley, William J. The book is entitled, "Roots Exposed". Stuart can be reached at stuart_9@hotmail.com . The book is not very expensive and contains about 600 pages of information on families that are interconnected from the tri-county area.

It appears that Earl and Jean Easter from Temple Hills contributed information to Stuart about his Avent and Reese families. Are these your family members? If so, I strongly recommend that you contact, Stuart. And if you do connect to the Avent and Reese family, nice to meet you, cousin. :)

Linda
