I must say that I have yet to see very much in the way of positive commentary on DNA Tribes. And the reviews from people of "mixed" descent have frequently been scathing. I would suggest AncestrybyDNA, if you're willing to make another investment. This test will give you a basic assessment of the percentage contribution to your genome from four biogeographical populations, Sub-Saharan African, Indo-European, North American, and East Asian. Further, if you can locate appropriate cousins, you would be in a position to look at the various individual lines that contributed to your genetic make-up by doing mitochondrial and Y-chromsome tests on these cousins, in addition to the two (assuming that you are male, one if not) that you can do on yourself.
