Only fill in your allele numbers in the cells that are highlighted green. These should be:D8S1179,D21S11,D7S820,D3S1358,D13S317,VWA,D18S51,D5S818,FGA.
All of the white cells on my speadsheet are left empty. I also did not receive some of the data from DNA Tribes so those are left empty as well. You should, however, have all the numbers you need to fill in the green highlighted cells( the 9 CODIS Markers). *On the speadsheet at the top of the table next to the word "Profile" you will see a little red note - if you place your curser over it you will see the note explains the green cell only thing.
Also, one thing about your results. Once you've entered the numbers into the green highlighted cells and hit "Show Frequencies" you will automatically be brought to your rankings. Only look at the numbers in that column - the computer has automatically ranked your results in Ascending order. (I started out looking at the numbers to the left and got all confused). Also, note that a score of 4.25E+09 is a closer match to ancestry than a score of 1.04E+10. And 1.04E+10 is a better match than 6.19E+14. If you're not a math guru (which I am not) it's better to let the computer calculate it for you - that's what the tool is for.
There is, however, additional information on the DNA Fingerprint website on how you can calculate how many times more likely your ancesters were 'x' than 'y' after you get your results. I did not go this far as my results already closely matched what DNA Tribes sent me- I figured they've got a much better grasp of the math/statistics thing than I do. If you're interested in going further, I can try to find the URL for you...let me know.
