Toot, What was the company that did your relative's test? I just posted that I just received my test kit from Nat'l Geo's Genographic Project. From my understanding the mDNA & y-chromosome DNA mutate very slowly, like every 10,000 years. Has anyone checked into Howard's africanancestry.com to see if their tests are more specific at pinpointing a more recent location for migration from Africa? I don't know if the markers are going to be specific enough and I don't have enough knowledge. Anyone else? Thanks,
