If I'm understanding your comment correctly regarding "some take this as 100%," it is possibly from a misreading of the results from African Ancestry which quotes a percentage match. For example, my cousin was a 100% match to the Kru. (I think I have the right cousin..:-)

I understand that African Ancestry is not saying that my cousin, or his father, or grandfather, and so on....... were 100% Kru. What they ARE saying is that his dna sequence is an exact match to the samples taken among the Kru people today. Somebody, somewhere, at some time back in my ancestry WAS 100% Kru, but we don't have any idea who that person was, or in what time period that was.
