Hello everyone, I agree with both of you, there has been a systematic brainwashing of African descendent people, if you ever get a chance read two books call the Isis Paper by Frances Cress-Welsing and the African Unconscious by Dr. Bruce Bynum, these are both African American Psychologist. The problem is and I saw this in the Motherland Project documentary and in Dr. Gates' documentary when they went to Africa, once we find out our heritage, are we going to reach back and lift up Africa, why aren’t we upset about the genocide in Rwanda, Sudan, and now Chad? Is it because the connection was severed after the middle passage? We have all been Willie Lynched. Even I don't know what I am going to do if I find out my tribe, because I don't have a cultural history with this tribe or ethnic group, it's like when you find out that papa was a rolling stone and you have a half-brother or sister who now wants to be a part of your life but you never had that connection, and I feel this way about DNA testing and genealogical research but there is still this deeper desire to know, and once you know now what? Will I feel any different or be any different than I am now?
Just my thoughts too, HL
