auDNA Cousins ...... The Numbers Aren't Surprising
I'm amazed that we are amazed with the number of relatives we may find through auDNA testing at the 3rd cousin and greater range. Don't discount them... Here, an example of a testimony for a 4th great-grandmother, Martha (Robinson) Allen, for her 100th birthday in 1905, she died in 1907 at the age of 102. At the time of her death in 1907, 106 years ago, her descendants at that time numbered 16 Children, 30 grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
This 4th great-grandmother is just 1 of the 8 sets of 4th great-grandparents of my tree. So, think of all of the ancestors, the siblings and the possible numbers of descendants there may be that are possible/potential DNA cousins for your "entire" DNA family tree. My 700+ RF, 850+ AncestryDNA & 80+ FF cousins are just the tip of the iceberg.
