My mother, Ruth Helen Moss (married name) is 95 years young. Born Ruth Helen Sims, April 24, 1913 in Police Jury Ward 6, Caddo, Louisiana. She ask that ancestry search is done on her mother, Bettie Hunter of Louisiana and her family. I believe Bettie Hunter's father was John Hunter and mother Jennie Brittan.

Bettie Hunter Sims died when my mom was 11 months of age. Therefore, she never knew her mom and was raised by her father Marvin Sims and older siblings. Bettie Hunter married Marvin Sims in the State of Louisiana - Parish of Caddo in 1900. Please contact me regarding the cost to search her ancestry. This is something I would love to provide to my mom while she is here on earth. She cries alot about not knowing her mother and limited information that was past down.
