Is anyone kin to the Creole GRANGER family from Lafayette, Louisiana? Felton GRANGER and Marie Frozine WHITE migrated to Houston in the Frenchtown area by the 1930s. Their known children were Alice GRANGER SIMMONS, Martin D. GRANGER, and Dudley GRANGER. All three died in Houston 1948-1961. Marie Frozine WHITE was the daughter of Martin WHITE and Orestelle Felonise "Estella" BARNABE, free persons of color. Valerie GRANGER was the son of Desire GRANGER and Emelia COMEAU.
