The first time I remember being interested in art was in the second grade.

I learned to sew at the YMCA in San Antonio. I took home economics in the 9th grade and made a lime green mini dress with a hood.

My mother taught me to crochet and to make things using what ever we had at home.

I discovered craft stores in the 1980's. I joke that I have tried most all types of craft projects on the market.
