Jay,

I know what you mean about the silencing at the baby shower. :| I made my neighbor a blanket and hat and it became the talk of the shower.

One thing I should also mention is that Susan Bates needles are the best kind to me. Boye needles are okay but do not flow as smoothly as the Bates. The Boye needles have more of a point at the end. The plastic ones don't work well with my fingers. The Bates are hard to find on the shelves now a days. So, if you ever go to a yard sale and see Bates needles, you got some good ones.

I'm on the east coast.
