[WOODWORKING] CABINETMAKING
In searching the House family, I noticed that Joel House my greatgrandfather was classified as a carpenter, yet it was mostly cabinetmaking from what I heard some relatives say. He had passed that down to my grandfather John House. The House folks were a part of Rowan County, N.C., in the Gold Hill Township area, where he helped to build houses etc. Cabinetmaking was passed down to his other children, but they went onto to other things in life. Yet out of the carpentry came a cane that was made by my grandfather, a cane that now sits in my home. It was made in 1894. Joseph Messages In This Thread
