I often wish I had something, anything that my ancestors owned or made. I wonder what they thought, how they felt, or how they saw the world. Am I anything like them?

I am making a mini album from A-Z that gives tidbits about what I think, feel and how I see the world using crafting to tell my story.

I've done the cover and the first two pages.

Crafts make us feel rooted, give us a sense of belonging and connect us with our history. Our ancestors used to create these crafts out of necessity, and now we do them for fun, to make money and to express ourselves.
