I spent Saturday at the Historical Society in Knoxville. It is awesome, while UT was losing...what I did learn is that there is a book on African-American cemeteries in Knox County called "Gone and All But Forgotten: The African-American Cemeteries of Knox County, Tennessee", Author Robert A. McGinnis. I have his contact information if any one wants to order the book. Also, he is currently working on Loudon County, projected to be completed the middle of next year.
