Barnett Cemetery......Shelby County, Ohio, Van Buren Twp.

"Abandoned colored cemetery in Van Buren Township, on the west side of Lucas-Gieb Road, one-eighth mile north of the intersection of Lucas-Gieb Road and State Route 29. Only three markers can be found in this heavily overgrown plot although numerous internments were made there."

I visited this site in June 2003 and only the marker for Harrison Winslow is still visible. I was unable to find the marker for 3rd great-grandparents Peter & Elizabeth Allen.
