I am looking for any reference on a man named Jim or James Baker from Tennessee. He was born circa 1829, perhaps near Memphis. He may or may not have applied for a pension record from the CSA around 1891, in Fayette County. His father's name may have been Samuel D. Baker, who was white. Do you have any information? Thanks.
