I am a docent at Mountain View cemetery in Oakland, California. I would like to learn more about African American burial customs and cemeteries in the East Bay. We are sadly lacking in this information at Mountain View. I would like to learn more and share this information with my fellow docents and ask if there are any members of the East Bay African American community who might be interested in sharing their knowledge with us.
