Good luck! Let me know what you find out. Southern Funeral Home handled the final arrangements for several of my ancestors buried in Mt. Carmel. When I was in Memphis several years ago I was told that Cane Creek MB Church had the cemetary records. I contacted the church and was told that possibly MJ Edwards funeral home had the records. (I'm now unsure of the name). Bottom line is I contacted everyone I was "told" might have the records but no such luck. The cemetary is huge because it combined 2 cemetaries and I find it hard to believe that the records are not available somewhere. I don't think that anyone is still being buried there so it might be worth it to check again with both the TN State Archives and the Memphis Shelby County Public Library (Main Branch/Benjamin L. Hooks Library) to see if maybe they have been given the records.
