Arlington National Cemetery
The following is a link to a compilation of data on the freedpeople buried in the predominantly African-American Section 27 of Arlington National Cemetery, 1864-1867. http://www.freedmenscemetery.org/resources/documents/arlington-section27.pdf
The civilian burials are often assumed to have come from nearby Freedman's Village, but that was not the case. Most were residents of Washington, D.C. recently arrived from other places, especially Virginia and Maryland.
It is a large PDF document of more than 200 pages plus some graphics, so it takes some time to load.
