Re: Grand Prairie Colored cemetery

I found a brief (land) history of Memorial Park / Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery¹. What was once Antioch Cemetery is "situated on the northern portion of American Memorial Park Cemetery in Southeast Grand Prairie"¹. I would suggest contacting the Grand Prairie Genealogical Society. They are working on expanding their cemetery histories and may also have a history of Grand Prairie that includes the area once known as 'The Line'. The Lodge's website also mentioned an 'oral interview' tape. This might be worth finding. Would any of the current members know someone that was in the lodge in the late 1940's to early 1950's? Masons have a special funeral program for their members. Questions about the life of Charlie Dixon:
It is "possible" that at least one living church, lodge, or community member remembers Charlie, or his family. ________________________________________________________________ ¹Grand Prairie Genealogical Society, First.
