INTRODUCTION
Big Oak Cemetery is located on Route #221 in Floyd, Floyd County, Virginia.
This cemetery was established by a local church and was used for its deceased
parishoners. It has since become a community cemetery. Those buried in this
cemetery are primarily of African-American descent.
