My cousin and I am been trying to get a list of names of people that had been re-interred in various cemeteries in Houston Texas. We have tried all venues to get this information but no-one seems to know anything.
We just got through walking Oak Park Cemetery and there were headstones that looked almost exactly like the ones still located at the Evergreen Negro Cemetery.
Our quest is to (1) find that list of names, (2)who owns Oak Park Cemetery, and (3) find our great grandfather James D Daviss.
