Friends of Abandoned Cemeteries Staten Island is currently seeking plot owners of Frederick Douglas Cemetery on Staten Island. The cemetery is and has been in receivership for some time and a meeting is scheduled for November 2008 to discuss its future. Only plot owners legally have a vote in the future of the cemetery. We kindly ask those that have family plots to please contact us so that you may be notified of upcoming meetings and be included in the decision making process.
